Here at 'Elyon house, we understand that many parents worry about who they leave their little angels with. (please read me). 

As the primary carer and the best educator, you know very well your child.

Therefore, We aim to work closely and will be available for children’s best interests.

Because partnership is important at this stage,we take into consideration all notes you provide us with. Our goal is to reassure parents and provide for all children a safe environment where their individual need's are met and they have positive relationship with the adult caring for them. 

On enrolment with Elyon house, you will receive a Welcome pack which contains all information about us and the forms about your child.

As your childminder, it is my responsibility to fulfil the requirements of the EYFS and ensure that your child receives the best possible level of care and education, and therefore we will be implementing all aspect of the EYFS in our setting.

 

We provide:

  • Opportunities for parents to discuss their child’s progress.

  • A summative report to parents giving details of their child’s achievements (2/3yr old)

  • Opportunities for parents to actively participate in EYFS curriculum through home activities

  • Parents can have access and ask questions about ‘Elyon House Policies which contain useful information relating to the setting; information regarding activities and events through discussions, notice boards (see notice board policy), information parent's folder or on 'Elyon house website.

  • Learning folder which contains your child's progress and achievements observed. It will also help us to plan an enriched series of activities tailored to meet the individual needs of your child.

  • On leaving ‘Elyon House, learning folder and records are given to parents.

 

Please, feel free to discuss your child’s progress and let us know what they are doing at home.
