'Elyon house  childcare services is a warm home from home  environment. We care  for children from six months . Because children's welfare matters, this dynamic  service provides high quality childcare in Euston and the surrounding areas for children.

WHY US

​

It’s an important and difficult decision for any parent to leave their little one in the care of someone else while they go to work. That's why, we would like to reassure all parents and endeavour to work closely and share information.

We have the same commitment and duty as a nursery because we are regulated and approved by Ofsted. Here is a list not exhaustive of our commitment to maintain a good standard of safeguarding and children's welfare. 

 

• Anyone over 16 years are DBS (CRB) cleared.

• My first aid training is up to date.

• I have an update training about Safeguarding and Children's welfare.

• I follow the Early years curriculum (EYFS) to help children to reach their full potential 

• Children are at all the time supervised.

• A high quality is maintain in food hygiene  

• Use of mobile phone and others devices are limited to me.

• A risk assessment of the premise is regularly held to avoid children risk.

• Visitors must sign the book visitors.

• My ratios are maintained 

• Family members, visitors or maintenance workers in the house do not have unsupervised access to the children under any circumstances.

• Workmen have not access to the house during minded hours except for emergency repair or Health and Safety reasons.

No 1 One-on-one attention

Because we are restricted by the amount of children (ratio) you little angel will received the strict attention according to his personal need.

Your child will be part of a smaller group and will therefore receive a personal and close  attention.

No 2 Home-from-home environment

I aim to make our environment a place where children feel welcome and valued.Your little one will keep this feeling of comfort and confidence as they will be in a home  environment. We have also no restrictions and we plan a lots of days out like visiting local playgroups, libraries, parks, museums etc...

Your child will spend a significant time with us so we will built up a close relationship based on attention, sensitive manners and professionalism.I am your child key person and therefore will be constantly guiding your child.

No 4 Flexibility

Whenever possible, we are completely willing to accommodate parents with stress-free.

Therefore, we offer tailored hours according to parents’ needs. 

We have a great level of flexibility to help you cover unusual working hours, emergency case, half term, school staff training etc...

No 5 Activity according to the EYFS

We plan and tailor activities for your child's development according to the EYFS framework. Children are observed but also monitored to support their learning development.

Each child has a personal folder showing their day at ‘Elyon house’” to share with parents.

We are inspected by Ofsted and the Early Years local authority advisor.  ​

No 6 bilingual environment

I believe that being in bilingual environment can be a real asset for children. Here at 'Elyon house, we promote diversity and as a French native, I implement a mix of rhythm & rhymes, story telling music & dance to fire children’s imagination. 

Also, children are invited to discover the benefit of healthy snacks with French recipes.

As part of our curriculum and equality policy, I encourage children to learn more about their own culture and be curious about other cultures. We celebrate festivals from different faiths and cultures and encourage parents to share with us any festivals, or special occasions.

No 7 Cooking session

We plan a cooking activity following our calendar events.

We enjoy showing to kids different foods, vegetables, fruits from different countries.

This a great moment where children can have fun, taste meal, share their knowledge and learn how to eat healthier.

No 8 Dedicated playroom area

we have created a loving, safe and friendly atmosphere in which children can laugh, play, enjoy learning at their own pace and grow in confidence. The setting is a smoke and pet free home. Our children's space contains a wide range of resources and material.

There is not only a vibrant dedicated childminding room but also a lovely communal back garden to explore, observe and learn about nature.

I gained experience as a teaching assistant in school and I can supervise older mindees with their homework​s.
